SURVEY
Prior to the commencement of manufacture of any
of our staircases a full site survey is undertaken to ensure optimum
design layout and to acquire the relevant information enabling us to
produce a set
of working drawings.
DRAWINGS
As part of our full design service we will
provide working CAD drawings from the information obtained during
the survey. These drawings are provided to you for approval prior to
thecommencement of manufacture thus
ensuring your specification requirements have been met.

INSTALLATION
A full installation service is available via
our team of skilled craftsmen.
BUILDING
REGULATIONS
BS5395 Part 2 1984 is the approved alternative
to Part K of the Building Regulations and forms the basis upon which
the layout and dimensions of our staircases are designed. A general
guide to this British Standard is given below.

IMPORTANT NOTES
1. Domestic stairs will have to comply with the
100mm sphere rule
2. A minimum of 2m headroom measured on the
pitch of the stair is required to comply to BS5395 Part 2 1984.
3. Stairs with more than 16 rises may require a
rest landing. A single flight can have a maximum of 22 rises to comply with BS 5395 PART 2
1984.
